It's been over 6-7 years, but you will always be in our hearts Cody. We will never forget your kindness, goofiness, and your sense of selflessness. Thank you for blessing us with your presence and we will cross paths again in the other side. Love you dude, forever!

I can't believe it's been a year today. I miss you Cody. The last time I saw you, all you wanted was for me and Migel to come check out your living situation. You had been living under a bridge near the underpass to Alameda. I told you so many times to come stay with us. 
Unfortunately I never did go to see him when he lived near where he died.  I couldn't see him living like that, it hurt me. The very last time we talked you called me crying, telling me how depressed you were and how much you needed help. I'm so sorry I couldn't find you in time brother. I love you Cody. 

I was neighbors with Cody for 12 years, I've got to see his best and darkest days. The last time I saw him was in jack London Oakland, and he all ways carried his pride on his shoulders. I just wish I got to say something meaningful when I saw him he is someone I would never have thought to loose his life so young. I'll all ways keep one rolled for you Cody. For all our adventures, rest in peace.

Cody was a Giant Teddy bear, his mom always called him Hulk because he had so much love in him, but sometimes he did not know his own strength. He always knew how to lend a helping hand no matter if you were family or a stranger. He put others before himself and knew how to bring laughter in the room. The good always out weighed the bad and he will forever be in our hearts.

I watched Cody grow up on Hubbard Street.  I have some great memories of his ever present smile and contagious laughter when he was smaller.   My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
