It's not goodbye but let's remember who he was as a person, father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, husband, and with those memories he will live on with us. You could always count on him no matter what situation you were in. If you needed to borrow his truck, help moving, whatever you needed, he would have given you his last dollar in his wallet had he thought you needed more than he did. I got the privilege to be able to work with my dad side by side at his job and that was when I got to know him not just as my father but as a person. I would always compete with him at work and would joke with him that I was just as good a worker as he was if not better. But one day his response to me was good, I want you to do better, I want you to be better. Don’t settle for being just like me. He wasn’t perfect, nor did he ever claim to be, but he did the best he could with what he had and wanted a better life for his children. It isn’t goodbye, the last thing my dad told me was I’ll see you later, and I can’t wait until that day comes.

Dear family, I am sending my sympathy and hope you can come together and be of great comfort to each other. Revelation 21:3&4 offers us hope too, “...and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be mo more, neither will mourning nor outcry be any more. The former things have passed away.” I pray this come soon for all of us who have lost a loved one.  Jesus promised us this: John 5:28&29.

You were the best daddy a girl could ever ask for. Always there for me no matter what. You always had the best advise. “Don’t worry, be happy” You always had a good heart and showed me how live life without hate in my heart. You always said it was much easier to live that way. I am such a lucky girl to be raised by you. I will miss you so much but I know you will always be with me.

You always had a smile on your face and always stayed so positive.  You were a great father and grandfather.  You always  had something funny to say when the situations were to serious. Thank you for bringing so much laughter to our lifes and such great memories.  We all know that you are in a better place now, with no pain just happiness. We will miss you dearly.  We love you the Escalera family.
