God gave her a long life, 89 years, born Nov. 19, 1925 in Kaiping, China. She lived in Milpitas most of her life growing chrysanthemums with her late husband, Mike, who preceded her in death eight years ago. She was a member of the Bay Area Chrysanthemum Grower’s Assoc. and loved hanging out there with her friends playing Mah Jong. She loved her family sacrificing her own desires to meet the needs of her family. She developed breast cancer at the end of her life and opted not to have treatments. The lump grew, but she refused to have treatments. So she let nature take its course. It started draining by itself. The doctor checked her and couldn’t believe what he felt. God did a miracle, shrunk the lump to pea-sized and gave her two more years to live. Toward the end of life her legs gave out, she could barely walk and fell. She finally surrendered her life to God and cried out, “God take me to heaven.” We are very thankful for the Asian Network Hospice. Pastor Thomas Chan came to her bedside to explain the gospel. We believe she accepted the Lord Jesus into her life and she is now with Mike in heaven rejoicing with new legs! God loves and He pursues until the very end!
She was very much loved by her children and spouses, Steve & Kathy Wong, John & Alice Mathias, and Lester Wong.
