With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jose Miraflores Reginaldo, a devoted husband, loving father, and accomplished mechanical engineer. He passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with gastric cancer, surrounded by the children he cherished so deeply.
Born in Libmanan, Philippines on June 16, 1948, Jose dedicated his life to building not just systems and structures, but also strong, resilient children. With a mind for intellectual challenges and in the spirit of duty, he studied international politics and current affairs.
But it was his role as a father, grandfather, and friend that brought him the greatest joy. A calm and steady presence, Jose was known for his thoughtful wisdom, unwavering support, and the deep love he showed his family through quiet companionship (and the occasional prank!).
He is survived by his children Noriel, Sarah, and Christina, and his grandchildren Logan, Eli, and Nova, who will carry his memory forward with love and gratitude. His beloved wife of 51 years, Veronica, predeceased him by 11 months.
His family would like to raise awareness that cancer patients are the recipients of nearly 25% of the U.S. blood supply. They request that anyone willing and able to please make a blood donation to Red Cross in his honor. Flowers and cards may be sent to Lima Family Milpitas-Fremont Mortuary.
