Juan is survived by Judy, his loving wife of 31 years, and five children: Renee (Steve), Phyllis (Shawn), Jennifer, Audra and Andrea. He also is survived by five grandchildren: Jacqueline, James, Ronnie, Christopher, and Andrew; and two great-grandchildren, Angel and Gabriel.
Juan will be fondly remembered by his sister, Connie, and by his brothers Martin and Nat, as well as many nephews, nieces, and cousins. He will be greatly missed by many friends.
Juan began working for General Motors in Fremont, CA in 1961 and continued working in the automotive industry until he retired from NUMMI in 2002. After retiring, he bowled in multiple bowling leagues in Milpitas where he continued to bowl until his bout with cancer.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
A Funeral Service in memory of Juan will be held on Monday, September 19, at 12:00 p.m., at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 48800 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539.
