
Ouida Yvonne Johnson was born on January 19, 1950 in Montgomery, Alabama to Gene Bass Johnson and Vera Mae Hobdy Johnson. (Both Parents deceased) Ouida could accomplish anything that she set forth to do. Her hunger to succeed in life paved a very colorful path. The journey that she embarked on at a young age was filled with twist and turns, however she always seemed to discover new and interesting way to overcome the obstacles that life presented. When widowed after her first marriage with four young children. Ouida became more determine to succeed. She went back to college while working full-time an earned several post-graduate degrees. With a PhD in Information Management, PhD and Masters Business Administration and a Masters in Information Management Systems. After retiring from Kaiser Permanente Medical Center after 30 years of loyal services she had more time to indulge in her new passion - travel. Ouida was a wealth of information and came to the aid the many people that she encountered during her career. She is survived by her siblings Karyn Johnson - Dorsey, Lisa Annette Johnson and pre-deceased by her sister, Iris Lynne Johnson - Bright. Predeceased by her son, Mikel Brown, she leaves behind 7 children; Kara Lynne Maldonado, eldest daughter; Larry Lorenzo Johnson, eldest son; Gene Jay Johnson; Erek (Buford) Brown; Arlen Lloyd Johnson; Buford Brown Jr.; Tia Yvonne Brown , youngest daughter; 21 Grand Children , niece and nephew; ex-husband Buford Brown, Sr. of 30 years and her loving partner; Damien Mario Roberts of 4 years and a host of family and friends. Ouida passed away peacefully at Kaiser Hospital in Modesto, CA on January 26, 2012 with her family at her side. Her services will be private with close friends and family on February 19, 2012.
