Roberto Fernandez, Sr. was born on April 30, 1968 in San Jose, California to the late Bertha Montanez Fernandez and Genero Fernandez. He was the seventh of eight children and was lovingly known as "Tito". He attended Calaveras Hills High School where he met the love of his life, Angela, in 1986. To this union was born their two children, Angelica and Robert, Jr., who he treasured and loved deeply.
Roberto worked in Facilities and enjoyed projects that allowed him t give back to the community. He was a very generous person and showed love to everyone. He was quick to forgive, encourage and open his home to others. He had a special way of accepting people without criticism or condemnation.
In 2010, he accepted Jesus Christ as the King of his life. From that day until the day he passed away on April 20, 2017, Roberto lived his life serving God. He has touched us all with his unending passion and love for Jesus.
Roberto leaves to cherish his memory his father, Genero; wife, Angela; daughter, Angelica; son, Robert (Chiquito) Fernandez, Jr.; grandchildred, Tatiana, Max, Issac and Benjamin; brothers, Genero (Annette) Fernandez, Jose (Danabe) Fernandez and Thomas; sisters, Ernestina (Victor) Ahedo, Gloria, and Martha (Pecas) Lopez; sister-in-law, Acela. Roberto was proceeded in death by his mother, Bertha and brother, Sal Fernandez.
