Ronald Jingco Gaudinez entered into heaven on April 14, 2026. He was born on December 31, 1946 to Filomeno & Ester Gaudinez in Manila, Philippines. He was their second child after his older sister, Grace, and was followed by two younger sisters, Ruby and Lynn.
He met his dear wife, Josie, in 1970 while working together at Mobil Oil, Philippines and married the following year. Their two older sons, Dennis and Robert, were born in Manila and lived at their family home in Antipolo. In 1975, Ron & Josie, immigrated to the United States where their two younger children, Genelle and James, were born. They raised their family in Milpitas, California.
Ron earned his Bachelor’s degree from San Beda College and completed his MBA at Ateneo de Manila University. Upon arriving in the US, he worked in finance for Paul Masson Winery and Dysan Corporation in the Silicon Valley. In the 1980s, he formed his own company, Bridge Electronics. At the height of his career, he was Vice President of Finance/Administration at Liberty Electronics.
As a young man, he fell in love with The Beatles and taught himself to sing and play guitar. His athleticism enabled him to play for the Mobil Oil company basketball team. He was also a founding and long-time member of the San Jose Filipino Tennis Club, through which he taught his three sons how to play tennis. His other hobbies included cars, gardening, and introducing his children to martial arts.
Throughout his life, Ron was an active parishioner at St. John the Baptist church, where he served as lector, eucharistic minister, and member of the Knights of Columbus and Couples for Christ. He established the Little Rock Bible Study Group and Nazareno Novena, spearheaded the altar and tabernacle renovation, coordinated the projector and sound system upgrades, and implemented the Easy Worship presentation software. In addition, he initiated the chapel restoration project, served on the parish finance council, and helped with the maintenance of church grounds. Among his favorite activities was leading the 10:45am Choir, where he was able to combine his passions for family, singing, guitar, fellowship, prayer, and devotion.
He loved to travel and cherished the memories made during business and vacation trips with Josie to Sweden, Germany, France, Belgium, Singapore, and Hong Kong. He was especially proud to be able to take his entire family on a European tour. Ron also enjoyed traveling with Josie on pilgrimages to France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, and the Holy Land. With Josie and members of the 10:45am Choir, he visited all 21 missions in California.
He will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humor and dedication to serving the church. At 79 years old, he is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, 4 children, 7 grandchildren, 3 sisters, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
