Deb was born on September 24, 1958 in Marion, Indiana.
She graduated from Prairie Heights High School in 1976.
Survivors include her sons, Brad (Lori) Hoyer of Coldwater, Michigan, and Nick (Jessica) Hoyer of Angola, Indiana, grandchildren, Kaleb Hoyer, Kameron Hoyer, Cooper Hoyer, Nevaeh Hoyer, and Casen Hoyer, Father, James (Virginia) Young of Kinderhook Township, Michigan, brothers, David (Jonanne) Young of Orland, Indiana, James (Cyndi) Young, Jr. of Angola, Indiana, and Michael Young of Fremont, Indiana, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia (Flynn) Boots.
A Celebration of Life for Deborah Kay Butler and her brother, Michael David Young will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2025 from 5 pm until 7 pm at the Fremont American Legion Cassel Post # 257.
