Dustin John “Bunk” Crites, 36, passed away Sunday March 12th, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident. He was born March 6, 1981 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Mary and Kenny Crites. Dustin graduated from Fairview High School in 1999. His childhood was spent exploring the woods and farm at his home in Hicksville, Ohio. Dustin married Cassandra Blue on September 22, 2007. He worked at Lakeside Farm Market in Angola, Indiana.
Bunk was an individual, a free spirit. He was artistic, musical, and passionate. He had a way with words, a way to make people feel special, feel included. Bunk had a contagious smile, and he had a sense of humor that not many possess. He found the most comfort in nature, and would often say; “A walk in the woods can sooth an anxious mind.” Bunk was extremely smart and loved to study new things. He was never afraid to ask questions. He was inquisitive. Bunk was passionate about music and could feel music in his soul, it spoke to him. You would often see him strumming his guitar and learning new songs. He was generous, and often saw the good in others that no one else could see. He was compassionate. He was loved.
"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt within the heart." -Helen Keller

Also surviving are his mother, Mary Crites of Fort Wayne, Indiana, his father, Kenny Crites of Angola, Indiana, and his brother Jason (Liz) Crites of Orland, Indiana.
