Jerold R. (Jerry) Graham

He was born Oct. 12, 1932, to Donald and Beattrice Patterson Graham in Branch County, Michigan on Adams Road where he lived all his young life.

Jerry Married Sharry Lee Brown on May 18, 1952, at the Orland Congregational Church at 7 p.m. in a candle light ceremony because Jerry played baseball on the Orland Town Team in Breman.

Jerry graduated from Orland High School and worked for the Sturgis Newport Business Forms for 34 years.

Jerry and Sharry were blessed with five children, Jerold A. Graham (Connie) Midland, Mich.; Andy Lee Graham, world traveler in Africa; Kandi A. Ross (Robert) Fort Wayne; April J. Schiffli (Michael), Fort Wayne; Bambee J. Lehman (Jeffrey), Kendallville. He was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, who were much loved and enjoyed. Jerry treasured his family.

Jerry’s parents are deceased, but he has two younger brothers, John Graham (Shirley deceased) of Marlin, Texas and Ronald Graham (Cindra) of Orland. He also has a niece and three nephews.

Jerry and Sharry enjoyed many adventures in their life together of 61 years. They loved God and built many memories with their family at West Otter Lake for 29 years and in Fort Wayne for 11 years. They then moved back to Orland. They also lived and enjoyed their grandchildren in Indianapolis while Jerry was in a cancer research trial.

Jerry was a member of the Orland Congregational Church and enjoyed being a member of the Orland Lions club. He was an avid White Sox and IU fan.

There will be calling hours from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm Saturday, May 17th, 2014 at Orland Congregational Church in the fellowship hall.

A celebration service of Jerry's life for the eimmediate family will be held on May 18th, 2014.

Memorials may be offered to the Orland Congregational Church or Orland Fire & Rescue Unit.
