JoEllen Presley

JoEllen Presley, age 52, of Angola, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018. JoEllen was born on April 8, 1966 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to James Darrell and Vivian (Sheets) McKee, they preceded her in death. She graduated from Fremont High School in 1984. She worked for Project Help in Angola. She was a true philanthropist. Lover of music, birds, gardening, and riding her motorcycle. She was an amazing Mother to three kids, a wife to a loving husband, and a grandmother to two beautiful granddaughters. A true friend to so many, a compassionate leader, a committed member of the 4H club, and she loved every animal she came across. She always put others needs before her own, and never turned those in need away. She will leave a hole that will never be filled. Survivors include her husband, Robert Presley, children, Chelsea Presley (Mike McCue) of Angola, Indiana, Shane Presley of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Caleb Presley of Fremont, Indiana, two grandchildren, Marlee McCue and Harper McCue, and eight siblings, including, Darlene Beam of Lakeland, Florida, Lori Williams of Garrett, Indiana, Christopher Nicholson of Riverside, California, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Fremont Zion Missionary Church, 205 N. Ray Road, Fremont, Indiana, with Rev. Jon Bruney officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the services from 11 am until 2 pm Saturday at the church. Memorial donations in her memory are requested to the family.
