

He was born on May 31, 1936 in Angola, Indiana, the son of Robert and Dorothy (Wisner) Cleckner.
He married Virginia Ann Fraley February 4, 1955 in Metz, Indiana, she survives.
He attended Metz High School. He worked for 28 years on the Indiana Toll Road, and retired as assistant supervisor in 1998. He occasionally attended the Olde York Church and North Scott Christian Church. He lived a good life, he was happy and funny, and loved his family and his many friends.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Ann Cleckner of Angola, Indiana, six children, Rick (Deborah) Cleckner and Dick Cleckner of Angola, Indiana, Nick Cleckner of Bluffton, Indiana, Vickie (Mark) White of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, and Dennis Cleckner and Kenny Cleckner of Angola, Indiana, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a brother, Larry Cleckner of Angola, Indiana, and a sister-in-law, Judy Cleckner of Indianapolis, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy Cleckner, and a brother Gordon Cleckner.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Beams Funeral Home of Fremont, Indiana, with Rev. Mike Hesterman officiating.
There will be two hours of calling prior to the services from 12:00 noon until 2 pm Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.
Burial will follow the service at South Scott Cemetery, Angola, Indiana
Memorials are requested to the North Scott Christian Church.
