Mark Anthony Pontecorvo

He was born on August 7, 1956 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Salvatore and Rosa (Bada) Pontecorvo.

Mark graduated from Bishop Luers High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1974. He later graduated from Indiana Institute of Technology in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1978.

He married Debra Ann Holcomb on August 12, 1978 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Mark was an engineer by trade for twenty years before changing careers to real estate. He was the Sales Manager for RE/MAX Results - Angola Office and served on the Board of Directors for the Northeastern Indiana of Realtors. Mark won many professional accolades during his time with RE/MAX. In addition to real estate, Mark enjoyed spending time with his family and had a passion for water skiing, pickleball, and racquetball. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Angola, Indiana and volunteered at both church and community events.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Pontecorvo of Jimmerson Lake, Angola, Indiana, daughter, Sarah (Daniel) Pontecorvo-McCauley of Dunlap, Illinois, son, Samuel Pontecorvo of Westfield, Indiana, grandson, Jaxson Pontecorvo, sister, Gina Pontecorvo of Angola, Indiana, and brothers, John Pontecorvo of New Haven, Indiana, Paul Pontecorvo of Fossacesia, Italy, and Carl (Lisa) Pontecorvo of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Visitation will be held from 2 pm until 5 pm Thursday, May 23, 2024 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Angola, Indiana. Additional visitation will be held on Friday, prior to the Mass from 10 am until 11 am at the church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Friday, May 24 , 2024 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 700 West Maumee Street, Angola, Indiana.
