Myrna Elizabeth Schaeffer

Myrna E. Schaeffer, age 88, of Fremont, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at her home. She was born on August 30, 1932 in Muncie, Indiana. Myrna married DeWayne Schaeffer on December 12, 1964. He preceded her in death on August 15, 2018. She worked for Robinair in Angola, the Ramada Inn, and the Sullins House in Fremont. Her many hobbies included sewing, doing crochet, and reading. Survivors include two children, Dale Schaeffer of LaGrange, Indiana, and Teresa (Rusty) Conley of Wolcottville, Indiana, grandchildren, Tia Charles of Fremont, Indiana, Bobbi Hagaman of Texas, William Conley of Kendallville, Indiana, Elizabeth Starnes of Texas, Will Schroeder of Fremont, Indiana, Arizona Schaeffer, Starr Conley, Robert Schaeffer, Amber Degraff, Jimmy Covington, and Brandi Huff, all of LaGrange, Indiana, many great-granchildren, a brother-in-law, Keith (Marlene) Schaeffer of Fremont, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Rodella Conley, a grand-daughter, Raquel Lea Charles, two sisters, a brother, and a sister-in-law. Graveside Services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Fremont Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana. Rev. Rodger Moyer will officiate the service.
