Nancy Ellen Johnson

She was born May 7, 1943 in Allen, Kentucky to John and Irene (Clevenger) Hopson.

Nancy married Robert G. Johnson on September 3, 1988 in Sevier County, Tennessee. He preceded her in death on September 29, 2022.

She was a retired Dietary Manager, and also formerly worked in a sewing factory. Nancy enjoyed reading, cake decorating and sewing.

Surviving are her children, Barb (Bill) Mason of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, Jonna Damron of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, Greg (Steve Coats) Damron of Chicago, Illinois, and Dee (Randy) Shaffer of Angola, Indiana, 10 grandchildren, 35 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Irene Hopson, her husband, Robert “Bob” Johnson, and a daughter Patricia Damron.

There will be a private family service at a later date.
