Rex "Gene" Phipps, 82 of Fremont, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at his home. Rex was a Vietnam Veteran and retired from Consolidated Freightway. Rex loved people and loved visiting his local hangouts. Rex was born on December 23, 1941 in East Prairie, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen M. Phipps on November 23, 2021. Survivors include three daughters, 6 Step Children and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
