

He was born on January 17, 1958 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Sherman and Clara (Miller) Robinson.
Sherman was a 1976 graduate of West Noble High School in Ligonier, Indiana.
He served in the United States Army from 1976 until 1979.
Sherman retired as a truck driver at Damiron Transportation, Fremont, Indiana. He also was a production supervisor at WTC in Fremont, and an engineer at Chicago Plastics, in Chicago, Illinois.
He married Terrie Brown on August 14, 1982 in Goshen, Indiana. She survives.
His hobbies were fishing, hunting, riding 4-wheelers and dirt bikes with his children and family, and riding horses. He was a true American picker, and seller. He enjoyed spending time with children, because he was a big kid at heart, and was a master at fixing things.
Survivors include his wife, Terrie Robinson of Fremont, Indiana, children, Elizabeth Nicole (Richard) Cline of Carpentersville, Illinois, and Brandon Robinson of Fremont, Indiana, grandchildren, Ethan Daniel Gumma and Connor Richard Cline, a sister, Vickie Bortner of Mishawaka, Indiana, and a brother, Walter Lee (Candy) Robinson of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Clara Robinson, and a sister, Nancy Mills.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm Friday, December 1, 2023 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. Rev. Jon Bruney will officiate the service.
Visitation will be held prior to the memorial service from 11 am until 1 pm Friday at Beams Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his memory may be directed to Heart to Heart Hospice.
