Timothy "Tim" Dale Lyons

He was born on November 20, 1961, in Angola, Indiana. His parents are Jackie Firestone and the late Olin D. Firestone. His mother survives.

He married Patricia E. Word on March 3, 1989, in Fremont, Indiana. She survives.

Tim attended and graduated from Fremont High School in 1980. He previously worked for Swager Communication in Fremont, Indiana, and retired from Metal Spinners, Angola, Indiana.

Tim was a member of the Fremont Moose Lodge and the Sons Of The American Legion.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, was a NASCAR fan, enjoyed 4-wheeling and truly loved the outdoors, and sitting by his campfire.

Survivors include his wife,Patricia ‘‘Pat’’ Lyons of Fremont, Ind.; a daughter: Tracy (Word) Wise and Eric Wilson of Angola, Ind.; a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Sarah Word of Angola, Ind.; a former son-in-law: Don Wise Jr. of Angola, Ind.; six grandchildren, Sarah, Grace, Kaylee and Jaxson Wise, all of Angola, and Andrew Offet and Lane Word of Angola, Ind.; his mother, Jackie Firestone of Fremont, Ind.; one sister, Kathy Parsons of Fremont, Ind.; two brothers, Kyle Firestone and Kurt Firestone of Fremont, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Olin Firestone, and a brother, Kelvin Firestone

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2013, at Beams Funeral Home in Fremont, Ind.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Beams Funeral Home with Pastor Lynn Eicher officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont, Ind. Following the burial services, a dinner will be served at the Fremont Moose Lodge for all Tim’s friends and family.
