Willard Neal Stetler

He was born on June 6, 1941 in Steuben County, Indiana to the late Amos and Bessie (Throop) Stetler.

Neal graduated from Fremont High School in 1959.

He married Linda Hinman on October 6, 1964 in Fremont, Indiana.

He was a lifetime farmer, a woodworker, carpenter, and made many items for the house over the years. Neal also worked for Simpson Industries in Fremont for over 24 years.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Stetler of Fremont, Indiana sons, Steven Stetler of Angola, Indiana and Danny (Tammy) Stetler of Fremont, Indiana, grandchildren, Michael Stetler of Fremont, Indiana, Tessa Stetler of Angola, Indiana and Neal Stetler of Fort Wayne, Indiana and a brother, Noel (Susan) Stetler of Fremont, Indiana.

He was also preceded in death by brothers, Leon Stetler and Blaine Stetler and a sister, Marilyn Ellet.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon until 2 pm Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.

Funeral Services will follow at 2 pm Wednesday at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. Ronald Elliott will officiate the service.

Burial will be at Teeters Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana at a later date.
