William A. "Bill" Waters

William A. “Bill” Waters, age 78, of California Township, Branch County, Montgomery, Michigan, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana, with his brother & sister-in-law by his side.

He was born on February 10, 1938, in California Township, Montgomery, Michigan, the son of James and Rolene (Nagle) Waters, they preceded him in death.

Bill graduated from Fremont High School in 1956. He later served our Country in the United States Army.

He was a member of the Fremont American Legion Cassel Post # 257, for 40 years, the Angola Elks Lodge# 2398 for 49 years, and the Loyal Order of Moose # 1568 in Angola, since 1974.

Bill had worked for Harold’s Chevrolet in Angola, Indiana for many years, and was still involved, and working in the parts department, and was formerly the parts manager.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Vicci Waters of Tekonsha, Michigan, nieces, Sherry (Kevin) Robinette & family of Coldwater, Michigan, and Michelle (Steven) Wood & family of Wolverine Lake, Michigan, and close friends, Jerry and Sharon Keyser, Kelli Lambert & family, Scott Lepley & family, and Chad Lepley & family.

Calling hours will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana, with Joe Hysong officiating.

Mr. Waters will be laid to rest at California Cemetery, Montgomery, Michigan.

Memorials may be made to the Fremont American legion Cassel Post # 257.
