

Aedo Reyes, 85, passed away at the Ohio Veteran’s Home, Tuesday, January 20, 2015. He was born in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico on April, 13, 1929 to Alberto and Margarita (Acevedo) Reyes. Aedo worked at Clauss Cutlery as a pinking shear finisher. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, he was active in the Cursillo movement and was also involved in prayer groups at St. Joe. Aedo was a handyman, he loved woodworking, carpentry, building houses and fixing cars. He also enjoyed Mexican music, playing the guitar, dominos and the company of his grandchildren.
Aedo is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rosa (Guzman) whom he married July 1, 1954 in Camuy, Puerto Rico; children Jose(Luz) Reyes, Carmen(Jon)Farrell, Priscilla (John) Adkins, Bryan(Sharon) Reyes, Maritza Kelly, Sara Reyes and Marcos Reyes; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brother Rafael, sisters Esther, Analicio, Myrta. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, brother Manuel, sisters, Delia and Carmen.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 23, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8P.M. with vigil services beginning at 1:30P.M. at Keller-Koch-Chudzinski Funeral & Cremation Service, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, OH. A mass of resurrection will be Saturday, January, 24 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Ken Lil officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery with military graveside services provided by the V.F.W. and American Legion.
