Barbara Lynn Roth

Barbara Lynn Roth, 69, of Fremont, passed away at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Wednesday, July 8, 2015. She was born in Los Angeles, California to Ernest and Ruth (Shepard) Boros on June 22, 1946. Barbara was an LPN for 40 plus years, working at various hospitals and nursing homes over her career. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved reading to her grandchildren, singing, doing different arts and crafts, and tending to her flowers. Barbara was a Den Mother for the Boy Scouts for 5 years, a school bus driver, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and sang in the choir for many years. She also volunteered for Heart Beat of America, and the American Red Cross.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Joseph Roth, sister, Susan (H. David) Sparks, brothers, Roger (Meredith) Boros and Raymond Boros, children, Christinia (Roth)(Kevin) Snider, Eugene Roth, Katherine Roth, and Michelle Roth, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Timothy Boros, and sons, Andrew and Donnovan Roth.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 1pm to 6pm, with a 5:30pm rosary service at Keller-Koch-Chudzinski Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, Ohio, 43420. Funeral services will be Monday, July 13, 2015 at 10am at the funeral home visitation starting one hour before the service. Deacon James Hammer will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sandusky County Humane Society, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, or the Ronald McDonald House.
