Mrs. Jane Farley Rimelspach Still

Jane was born May 11, 1925 in Fremont, the daughter of Edward and Ellen (Tracy) Rimelspach. She was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School and The Ohio State University. Jane's career took her to Washington, D.C. as a systems analyst and manager for the Housing and Home Finance Agency. She was appointed to this position by President L.B. Johnson and sworn in at a formal White House Ceremony. While working at the Pentagon, she met her first husband Donald F. Farley. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1970. On November 7, 1985 she married Frank Barrett Still, they met in Washington while working in the FBI offices.

Jane loved hosting her many nieces and nephews, entertaining friends in Washington, D.C., Glouster, VA and Naples, FL. She also enjoyed cooking, reading and gardening. Jane was an avid golfer celebrating 2 holes in one.

Surviving is her husband, Frank Still of Naples, FL; his children, LaVerne (John) Lemen, Jeff Still; and two grandchildren; brothers, Jim Rimelspach of Logan, OH, Dr. John "Jack" Rimelspach of Escondido, CA; nieces and nephews, Dr. Tom (Norma) Reineck, Mary Lynne (Dan) O'Brien, Bill (Barb) Reineck, Dr. Steve (Tami) Reineck, Jim (Sally) Daubel, Tisha (Jim Cline) Turner, Jane (Jesse Fischer) Hoch, Joe Daubel, Roger (Jamie) Hafford, Fr. Jeff Rimelspach, Marsha ( Larry ) Closz, John Rimelspach, Judy (David) Denenholz, Kathy Jane (Conrad) Hubble.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, sisters, Lou (Hafford) Newton, Dorothy Reineck, Ann Daubel; and a nephew Dave (Ginny) Daubel.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, August 17, 2011 from 6-8p.m. at Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason Funeral & Cremation Service, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, Ohio. A Mass of Resurrection will begin at 11:00a.m. on Thursday at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Fremont, with Fr. Jeff Rimelspach officiating. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery.
