Kathy Ann Wasserman

Kathy Ann Wasserman, 57, of Fremont, passed away at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, Friday, October 2, 2015. She was born the daughter of John and Marilyn (Bork) Damschroder in Fremont, Ohio, on May 6, 1958. Kathy graduated from Providence School of Nursing as an LPN, and worked as a health nurse and receptionist at St. Joseph Catholic High School for 7 years. She was also a coordinator for Dr. Nagy’s Orthodontics practice in Fremont. Kathy loved to help people, and was the first in line to help any friend or family in need. She enjoyed doing volunteer work at the St. Joseph Schools, as well as 4-H. She also enjoyed quilting, and was a member of the quilting guild.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Michael Wasserman, children, Nicholas (Maggie O’Brien), Benjamin, Allison, and Jeffrey Wasserman, mother, Marilyn (Jon) Jones, siblings, Kim (Dan) Meisler, Kent (Meredith) Damschroder, Karla (Jeff) Foss, and grandchild, Cooper.

She is preceded in death by her father, John Damschroder.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Keller-Koch-Chudzinski Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, OH, 43420. Friends will be received by the family at St. Joseph Catholic Church Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 9:30 a.m., with a Memorial Mass following at 10:30 a.m.at the church. Rev. Ron Brickner will be officiating.
