

Lawrence Henry Kramer, 93, of Fremont, died Friday, July 14, 2017 at Promedica Toledo Hospital. He was born the son of Henry and Lucy (Wasserman) Kramer on April 7, 1924 in Fremont, Ohio. Lawrence graduated from St. Joseph Catholic High School in 1942, and was drafted into the Army Airforce and served during WWII. He worked for 38 years until his retirement buying steel for Whirlpool, and was a member of the Whirlpool Management Club. Lawrence was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, St. Joe Boosters Club, the Elks, the American Legion and VFW. He was also fond of traveling, and wintered in Fort Myers Beach, Florida for 25 years, taking his good friend, Jim Lauer, along with him on many vacations.
Surviving are his siblings; Joseph Kramer, Thomas (Donna) Kramer, both of Fremont, Betty Essi of Lakewood, OH, and John (Luella)Kramer of Republic, OH, sister-in-law, Annabelle Kramer, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Charles Kramer and sisters; Dorothy Keegan, Kathryn Ash.
Visitation will take place Monday, July 17, 2017 from 4pm-8pm at Keller-Koch-Chudzinski Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, Ohio, 43420. A Mass of Resurrection will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 10am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Nathan Bockrath with officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery with military honors provided by the American Legion and VFW.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Bishop Hoffman Schools.
