Patsy Louise (Nickloy) Leemaster peacefully left this Earth to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Valley View Health Campus. She was born to George and Hazel Nickloy in Fremont, Ohio on February 11, 1932. Pat graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1950. On May 2, 1953, she married Dean Leemaster in Fremont, and together they raised 4 children. Pat and Dean spent many years teaching Sunday school. In addition, she was a member of the DAR and the Fremont Eagles. Pat worked at Kroger, starting in the meat department and later working as a cashier. She also worked at Pump Nursery, Oakwood Cemetery, and Shoprite, where she later retired from. In her younger years, Pat enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and taking many family camping trips. She and Dean also enjoyed vacationing to Las Vegas and Florida over the years. However, her greatest passion was her family, and she especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter; Connie (Bob) Decker, sons; Tim (Patty) Leemaster, Ted (Laura) Leemaster, daughter-in-law; Lori Leemaster, sister; Ginger Coxeter, sisters-in-law; Barb Nickloy, Alta Leemaster, Lois Wagner, 11 grandchildren, 4 step-granddaughters, 10 great-grandchildren, with one on the way, and 2 step-great-granddaughters. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dean Leemaster, parents; George and Hazel Nickloy, in-laws; John and Ruth Leemaster, sister; Georgia Paprocki, brother; Larry Nickloy, brothers-in-law; Chet Paprocki, John Coxeter, son; Terry, and their unborn twins.
Pat’s family would like to thank Valley View Health Campus for the great care she received during the last week of her life. They would especially like to thank Heartland Hospice for all the love and kindness she was shown. They are truly God’s angels.
Pat’s body was given as an Anatomical Donation to the University of Toledo Medical Center. Her arrangements were entrusted to the care of Keller-Koch-Chudzinski Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, Ohio, 43420. A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00am at Hayes Memorial United Methodist Church, 1441 Fangboner Road, Fremont, Ohio, 43420. All are invited to a memorial luncheon at the church following services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, 907 W. State Street, Suite A, Fremont, Ohio, 43420.
