Adalbert Francis Zin (Htun Aung Kyaw), a cherished son, brother, uncle, and granduncle, passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 72. He was born to U Thet Zin and Daw Khin Yi(Freda Zin)in Akyab, Myanmar. We will always remember his dedication for his family and friends with great respect and affection.
He retired from Zin International, a firm specializing in international trade and consultation. Additionally, he has contributed his expertise to Food for the Hungry International and at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand.
Adalbert Zin was preceded in death by his father, U Thet Zin, and his brothers, George Zin and Benedict Zin.
He is survived by his mother, Freda Zin, and his siblings: Lilian (married to Savit), Bazil (married to Juliet}, and Trevour. Luzviminda, the spouse of George, and Jolene, the spouse of Benedict.
Adalbert leaves behind his nephews and nieces, including Veronica (married to Burton), Chanmya (married to Perawat), Michael (married to Katlin), Valerie (married to Edgar), Vanessa (married to William), Carolyn (married to Patrick), and Daniel.
Additionally, he is survived by his grandnephew and grandnieces: Raylene, Ruby, Robyn, Rio, Gabriel, Raya, and Reyna.
A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 30th from 4 - 7 pm, followed by the recitation of the holy rosary at 5 pm will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns, and Blair Funeral Home - 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720.
The mass of christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st at 10 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church - 355 E. Champlain Drive, Fresno, CA 93730, and a graveside service to follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery - 264 N. Blythe Ave., Fresno, CA 93706.
