It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved son, twin brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Alexander’s passing has left a deep and lasting void in the lives of all who knew him.
Alexander was born on March 15, 2005, in Dallas, Texas. He was a smart, funny, generous, bright, compassionate, and vibrant young man who had a passion for life and a heart full of dreams. His kind heart, innocence, and goodness made him the kind of person who could light up a room with his laughter and smile. He did not turn a blind eye to anyone in need or have the heart to be unkind or cruel. From his early childhood to his young adulthood, everyone could see that he had the kind of soul any parent would be proud of.
Although his time with us was far too short, Alexander made a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. He was a proud Eagle Scout, college student, and future software engineer. He was known for his kindness, loyalty, and unwavering support for his friends and family. If you were lucky enough to know him, you knew that he would put you first, sacrificing his own wants and needs because he loved so deeply. He was our role model. His spirit was generous, and his love for those close to him knew no bounds. His quiet presence, both gentle and strong, will be missed more than words can express.
Alexander is survived by his mother Lara Simonian, father Colin Philip Jitlal, twin brother Dominic Gabriel Simonian, Uncle John Simonian, Uncle Sebouh Simonian, Uncle Mark & Alison Jitlal, grandparents Jennifer and James Rayner, grandparents John and Anne Jitlal, cousins John Jr. Simonian, Chris Simonian, Masis Garabedian, Lori Minassian, Rafi Garabedian, Emily Murdoch, Lynn La Vanway, Frank Simonian, step-dad Frank Chris Fluharty, and a host of other extended family and friends whom he lovingly called Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins, all of whose lives were enriched by his warmth and friendship. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will continue in the hearts of all those who were blessed to know him.
Church services to honor Alexander will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, followed by a memorial in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alexander’s beloved Sunday School at the same church in his memory.
Rest in peace, our sweet beautiful Alexander. You were taken from us far too soon, but your love, your light, and your spirit will never be forgotten. You will always be our “Bunny, our Alexander Banderman.” You will always be in our hearts. We love you Alexander.
