Andrew "Andy" John Brescione

Andrew met Greta in business college and was married to his sweetheart for over 57 years. Fresno, CA is where they made their home while creating friendships that would last for a lifetime. Andy specialized in food sales and then ventured as an entrepreneur until retirement.

Andrew was a committed husband to his wife whom he enjoyed traveling with across the world and shared his hobbies of tennis and golf. His grandsons brought to life his youthful and gentle nature. Whether it was someone he just met or a close friend, Andrew will be remembered as a man with great character, for his trustworthy attributes, his congenial spirit, charm, and for having a warm smile. He showed his affection through an array of chosen nicknames for friends and family.

Andy was cherished by his family and admired by his friends. His big heart loved in return until his last beat on Saturday, July 28, 2018, when he joined his beloved daughter Leiann.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Greta; son Michael; daughter-in-law Miranda; and grandsons, Roman and Austin.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul Catholic Newman Center, on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at 11:00 a.m.
