I just learned of Annette's passing yesterday, Jan 11.  Annette and Ken were long-time friends of my Mother and Stepdad, Alice and Cal MacPherson.  Annette joined our family every Thanksgiving and Christmas and she took Mom and Cal out to Ruth's Chris every New Year's Eve.  We loved Annette very much and I have so many memories of her stories about all her adventures.  She was funny and generous and such a blessed friend to my Mom until Mom passed away in 2021.  I saw Annette Christmastime after Mom's passing and had my last conversation with her last summer.   Miss her and all the good ol' days with the three of them.  God Bless Annette.

This was Mother's Day 2018 when Annette took me and Mom to Flemings - was a beautiful day.  Thank you Annette!

This photo was taken in 1992, I think -- my mother, Carmel Bouchard Joyce (l), and Annette Bouchard Young (r) at my sister Nancy's wedding in Charlotte, NC.  They always looked and acted more like sisters than cousins ... such bright lights!!

Even when my mother, Carmel Bouchard Joyce  -- Annette's cousin -- had lost much of her memory in her later years, I would often find little slips of paper around the house where she'd written "Call Annette!" or simply "Annette" to remind her to call her beloved cousin...I have many sweet memories of seeing/hearing my mother laughing on the phone with her for hours. 

Even after my mother passed in 2018, Annette kept tabs on our family ... I will also miss laughing on the phone with her.

Our heartfelt condolences to your family at this very difficult time. Annette was a very active and delightful member of Daughters of the Nile for many years.  She used her wonderful voice in our Choir and was faithful in attending every Session and social event as long as her health permitted.  She will be greatly missed.  Please know that you are in our hearts and prayers during this very difficult time.

Dinner with wife and grandma at Flemings in Fresno. A memorable experience as a neighboring table of a younger crowd was celebrating and brought a massive bottle of wine which they struck up a conversation with grandma and shared their wine. Grandma was always making friends everywhere she traveled.

What a lovely lady. So enjoyed speaking French with Annette. She was so much fun!

Tellement d'heureux souvenirs partagés avec la douce Annette.
Ceux de mon enfance bien sûr et aussi ceux des trop rares mais si précieuses visites au Saguenay avec Ken. 
Quel beau couple ils faisaient,  quelle belle complicité ils partageaient. "Mon secret, disait-elle, c'est le respect."

Repose en paix ma Belle. Tu seras toujours dans nos coeurs.
