Barbara Lois Andreoni

Barbara was born on April 5, 1927 and entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the age of 85 years.

She married her high school sweetheart on May 26, 1946. They lived in Fresno and raised their four children here. She was a loving and caring person who was especially close to all of her family. She took pride in each and every one of us left behind. We know she is watching over us now and her suffering has ceased and she is walking with our Lord.

Special thanks and recognition is extended to her special care givers, son, Brian Andreoni and his wife Susan; daughter, Becky Doran and her husband Tim and Nancy Hinds Hospice for their care and compassion during her final days.

She was predeceased in death by her loving husband of almost 65 years, Leo John Andreoni; and her parents, Thomas Fulwider and Cleo Swanson.

She is survived by her children: Lauri Andreoni and Steve Benard, Becky Doran and her husband Tim, Michael Andreoni and his wife Valerie and Brian Andreoni and his wife Susan; sister, Betty White; grandchildren, Jody Major Jourden, Philip Andreoni-Lupo, Angela Timmen, Abry Garfoot and Shanna Doran; great-grandchildren, Gaby and Nina Timmen and Grace and Charlie Garfoot, any many friends.

She asked that we share the following when remembering her:

When I come to the end of the road; and the sun has set for me; I want no room filled with gloom; why cry for a soul set free.

Miss me a little-but not too long; and not with your head bowed low; remember the love that we once shared; Miss me - but let me go.

For this is a journey that we all must take; and each must go alone; it's all part of the Master's plan; a step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart; go to the friends we know; and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds; Miss me - but let me go.
