We will never forget her.
Born in Fresno California At University Medical Center on June 3, 1961. She left this earth and became an extraordinary angel on April 11, 2021. The world will never be the same again. My mother Belinda leaves behind her two daughters Lucille Ann Ray and Sofia Belinda Ray; her 3 grandchildren Delilah Ray Bombardly, Farrah Ray Bombardly, and Atalanta Ray Bombardly; her mother Margaret Alamindariz Ramirez; her father Frank Raymond Liscano, and her brother Vince Adam Liscano.
My mom lived an incredible life. She lived in Los Angeles, Huntington Park, Huntington Beach, Vista, San Diego, and Escondido, where her youngest daughter Sofia was born. But in the end, she found herself back home in Fresno California where her heart remained until she left us to join God and her beloved older brother Mario Lawrence Liscano. The lights of her life were her girls. Delilah, Farrah, and Atalanta spent every single day of their life with my mom since the day they were born. My mom not only loved her family, but she loved her friends as well. She made friends wherever she went and with whoever she met. Billy, as her close friends and family knew, she was crazy about music.
She loved Queen, Johnny Cash, Vicente Fernandez, Post Malone, Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson, KISS, and sooo many more artists. Her love of music runs deep in our family bloodline, and luckily, she passed that intense love for music on to me and my sister Sofia.
She also loved God; she dedicated her work life to the Roman Catholic Bishop of Fresno for 21 years. She knew all the Diocesan priests, and they definitely knew her. Her voice was unmistakable. My mom’s smile and laughter was always contagious, and she was always ready for the next family get together so she could dance and celebrate with her beloved cousins, aunts, and uncles. I can’t even begin to count the number of lives my mom touched. When I was a kid, my house was always the place where all the kids wanted to get together, because I had the cool mom. My mom will forever be the cool mom you could only dream of having.
We love you, Mom.
And we will never forget you.
