Betty Louise Ruyle

Born on September 17, 1931, Betty graduated from high school and dedicated her life to being a homemaker for her three children.

Betty is survived by her children, Murray Shamp, Dona Coleman and spouse Ralph Coleman, and Howard Shamp. She leaves behind a loving legacy of 7 grandchildren, including Kevin Smith, Bradley Shamp, who preceded her in death, Brian Shamp and spouse Braulia Shamp, Amy Brumley and spouse Ryan Brumley, Muranda Cole and spouse Stan Cole, Michael Shamp, and Abby Newland and spouse Erik Newland. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren Brett Cole and spouse Whitney Cole, Kristopher Smith, Vivian Gilfoy and spouse Mike Gilfoy, Josh Shamp, Preston Cole, Ashton Shamp, Korey Smith, Gillian Garza, Jacob Claywell, Emily Cole, Kenneth Cole, Kyler Smith, Kevin Smith Jr., Marina Shamp, Hailee Shamp, Ariel Holder, and Brenden Shamp. Betty is also survived by her 6 great-great-grandchildren, Addison Cole, Marissa Gilfoy, Benjamin Cole, William Gilfoy, Paisley Garza, and Sierra Gilfoy. Betty also leaves behind many more family and friends who all loved her dearly.

Betty will be remembered for her wonderful smile and the love that she gave freely. Her family wishes to extend their thanks to everyone who has reached out to offer love and support during this time.

A visitation for Betty will be held at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel, located at 202 North Teilman Avenue, Fresno, California, on November 7, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A graveside service will follow at Belmont Memorial Park, located across the street at 201 N Teilman Avenue, Fresno, California, starting at 11:00 am.
