Brandon "Bay" Jamarr Peterson, 41, of Fresno passed away at home on June 17, 2020. Brandon was born on May 25, 1979 in Merced, California to Joe W. Peterson Sr. of Atlanta, Georgia and Cheryl Norwood-Jackson of McRae, Georgia.
Brandon grew up in Merced, California and graduated from Golden Valley High School in 1998. He moved to Fresno in 2000, where he worked in the fast food industry and the Economic Opportunities Commission.
Brandon was outgoing, funny, kind-hearted and very nurturing. He got the nickname "Bay" from his sisters who loved him dearly. He loved playing video games since he was a kid and passed on the tradition of gaming to his nieces and nephews. "Bay" also loved working out, spending time with family, and hanging out with his friends. He was mechanically inclined, took the lead on various projects, and loved working outdoors. Brandon was a joy to be around and people gravitated to him. He had a smile that would brighten your day and always had something positive to say. "Bay" was the best baby brother and uncle. He will truly be missed.
Brandon leaves behind to cherish his memories, sisters, Natasha Fambles of Fresno, California, Yolanda Fambles-Obey of Long Beach, California, Laura Peterson of Columbia, South Carolina, and brothers James Oates of Vallejo, California, William Peterson of Merced, California, Joe Peterson Jr. and Labrado Peterson of Stockton, California. Brandon also leaves behind, nieces and nephews, Michael, Khayla, Khailani, Sakeenah, Jalina, Yameenah, Syeda, Dasharr, and Joe III. He was preceded in death by his parents.
