Devoted Husband to Kathy Kawano and loving Dad of Jim Kawano, both from Fresno. Beloved son of Kimi Kawano of Clovis. Loving brother of Jeanne Hannigan and her husband Steve of Hilo, Hawaii and Dr. Kelvin Kawano and his wife Norma of Clovis. Caring Uncle to Justin Hannigan of Eugene, Oregon, Christopher Hannigan of Hilo, Hawaii, Kyle Hannigan of Los Angeles, Derek Kawano and Crystal Kawano both of Clovis.

He was preceded in death by his father Jimmie Kawano, cherished cousin to many.

A special thank you to the staff at Fresno Heart Hospital for their excellent care and concern during his stay. We would also like to thank Dr. Gregory Dunford, Dr. Steve Davis, Dr. Rendoll Concepcion and Dr. Marshall Flam helping him fight this battle.

Friends are welcome for visitation Friday, October 8, 2010 from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm at Lisle Funeral Home.
