Carlos was a very caring person who strongly believed in the unity of family. He had a big heart for the homeless; at times, he would be found helping them in any way he could; even when he himself was experiencing challenges in his life.
He didn't cast judgement, he always found the good in people.
He was incredibly determined when he made up his mind. He had a humorous personality and many friends. He loved music and watching movies when he wasn't glued to the TV watching the news. He often helped people that were unseen by others.
Carlos is survived by his brothers and sisters; Sylvia Moran and husband Jim; Manuel Silva; Lorina Morales; Gloria Morales; Belinda Siqueiros and husband Louie; Anna Marie Silva; Yolanda Gutierrez; Joe Zavala and wife Susanna, Corina Ornelas and husband Manuel, as well as Carmen Torres, mother of his children. Carlos is also survived by his daughter Stefanie and his sons, Joey and Freddie, and 7 grandchildren.
Carlos was preceded in death by his Father Sabino A. Silva, Mother, Maria F. Silva, Brothers Enrique Flores, Arthur Silva, and Sisters Delma Silva, & Estela Silva.
A Visitation will be held on February 5, 2026, at 4:00 pm at Lisle Funeral Home, located at 1605 L Street, Fresno, CA. This will be followed by a Rosary at 6:00 pm at the same location. A Mass will take place on February 6, 2026, at 10:30 am at Saint John's Cathedral, 2814 Mariposa Street, also in Fresno, CA.
