Carmen Murphy Gonzalez

Carmen was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Diaz Gonzalez, and her sons, Manuel Gonzalez Jr. and Robert Gonzalez. She is survived by her five-generation family, including her six children: Christina, Fernando, Mary Lou, Cecilia, Blanca, and Veronica, as well as her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Carmen was a dedicated nursing assistant for 11 years, contributing her skills and compassion to the care of many.

We want to thank our Mom and Grandma for showing us the values of life, and for providing us with plenty of love and care. Rest in Peace with God and all his Angels and Saints. We were truly blessed to have you, and you will be greatly missed.

A visitation for Carmen will be held at Stephens and Bean Chapel, 202 N Teilman Avenue, Fresno, California, 93706, on August 21, 2025, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. A rosary will follow that evening, also at Stephens and Bean Chapel at 7:00pm.

A funeral service for Carmen will be held on August 22, 2025, located at The Shrine of Saint Therese Church, 855 E Floradora Avenue, Fresno, California, 93728, starting at 11:00am. A committal service will follow, taking place at Saint Peter's Catholic Cemetery, 264 N Blythe Avenue, Fresno, California, 93706.
