The coolest part about sleeping over at Joe’s house was hlob’s box of fabric scraps. We would use those scraps and make them into doll clothes. I always admired hlob’s talent in sewing and making clothes. Definitely will miss his loud voice. 

Txiv Laus was the most enthusiastic and animated person I knew.  His excitement over anything and everything was infectious.  No doubt he was loud but always in positive ways.  He was especially passionate about his sewing skills.  He and my sister sewed clothes for us while growing up and they were my earliest inspiration.  They are the reason why I sew my own clothes to this very day.  Txiv Laus’s passing is a great loss and I am deeply saddened and regretful that I never took the time to tell him what a positive impact he has made in my life.  He will be missed dearly. 

I still can't believe txiv laus is gone. I remember him as a person who is so full of life. Always loud and making us laugh.   He will always be remembered fondly.

It’s still unreal that he’s gone. Glad I got to see him one last time. When we were smaller we will go to his house and he will always say Vien looks like Michelle from full house..lol..GOODTIMES.

Our Lee Family is a loud family, with much laughter and good times. But Hlob was the loudest! You can be anywhere in the house and you’d know when he arrived. I’ve always been amazed at how talented you were with turning a simple piece of cloth and making outfits for others to wear. I am proud to say I have a Laos skirt that he made for me right before my wedding. Thank you, Hlob, for being another dad to all your nieces and nephews. Most of all, I will miss the stories and dad jokes. 

Hlob, I'm sadden that you left us so soon that I didn't even get to say a final farewell. I remember the last words I say to you was " Be strong and everything will be ok." You answer me with an "Ok!" I really wish that was the case. I really wish you were strong enough to beat the odds. I remember everytime you see me, the first thing that comes out of your mouth was "When are you going to have baby?" I always laugh and asked you "Are you going to babysit my kids?" You always answer with a "YES!" Well now that you've gone to rest, I won't have my babysitter anymore, but I'm happy that your pain and misery are long gone. May you rest in peace until the day the mighty Lord calls us home. Until then, we'll meet again my dear Hlob! 

My father-in-law was very protective of the family. He once told me that whomever causes us grief, he'll fix it right away and won't let that happen. He protected us in the best way he knows how. Even through his hardships, he always found comfort in my daughter, Ada. His face lit up instantly every time he sees her. Thank you father for your love and support.

I grew up on tough love when it came to my dad. One thing my dad had always told me while growing up was to make sure I graduate from a university before I get married because he believed in me. He told me I had potential and that he'd be sad the day I leave the family. He may be tough on the outside but inside, my father forgave others easily. He loved family and cherished friendships. I miss and love you dad.
