Consuelo Rodriguez Vega was a woman of extraordinary strength, unwavering integrity and quiet grace. Born in Blue Town, Texas, she built a life rooted in faith and family. She later made her home in Clovis California where she planted deep roots and left a lasting legacy that continues through generations.
Consuelo was a woman of independence and resilience. In the 1980s, she founded her own new construction cleaning business in the Central Valley area, a remarkable accomplishment at a time when few women stepped into entrepreneurship so boldly. For over 40 years her business not only provided her own family but also helped with the needs of those who worked for her company. Her work ethic, determination and leadership were a testament to her strength of character. Whatever she did, she always gave it her very best. That commitment to excellence and perseverance is a quality she instilled in each one of her daughters and grandchildren. Today, her legacy continues through her grandson who carries forward her entrepreneurial spirit with his own sister cleaning company.
Above all else, Consuelo was a devoted wife to her beloved husband Arturo and a loving mother to her daughters Irma, Elena, Sarah and Yvette. Taking care of her children was not simply her role. It was her calling. She poured herself fully into their lives, offering guidance, protection, forgiveness and unwavering loyalty.
She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Austin, Amanda and Bella which brought immense joy to her heart. She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters Gloria, Maria, Aurora and her brother Jose.
Consuelo was a woman of deep and abiding faith. She loved her Heavenly Father wholeheartedly and her life reflected that devotion.
She was a proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for the last 56 years. She had a deep love for the scriptures and found strength and comfort in reading them daily. She was devoted to temple work and faithfully participated in church activities serving in various capacities throughout her years in the church. Her strength came not only from her determination but from her trust in her Heavenly Father.
In her quiet moments she enjoyed sewing, creating beautiful floral arrangements, reading and learning to type. She enjoyed watching funny internet A. I. stories. She also had a holistic spirit and a deep belief in caring for the body naturally. She loved natural herbal remedies and organic foods long before they were widely popular or easily found in stores. She was ahead of her time in the way she valued health, wellness and mindful living. She had a gift for making things beautiful, whether it was a home, a business or the lives of those around her.
She loved fiercely. Her husband, her daughters and her grandchildren were the treasures of her life.
Her integrity, forgiveness, loyalty and strength will remain a guiding light to all who knew her. Though she has passed from this earthly life, the love she planted continues to bloom in the hearts of her family and in the legacy she built.
We find comfort in the promise that families are eternal. Through the Mercy and plan of her Heavenly Father, she will be reunited with her beloved husband for time and all eternity. We know this separation is temporary and we look forward with faith to the reunion that awaits.
Her life was one of faith, sacrifice and enduring love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered
