Dainis Lauris

Dainis was born in Colorado Springs, CO on January 18, 1965, and passed peacefully on March 31, 2014. Denny lived for his family and friends, especially his two daughters, Taylor and Lauryn. He loved to spend time with the girls as they enjoyed their favorite past- times. He often joked that he had a daughter, Lauryn, that rode one horse, and another daughter, Taylor, that rode 40 horses as she raced her dirt bike. He lived life to the fullest as he enjoyed trips with his family to the beach and to go skiing, camping, fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dainis Lauris Sr.; and his grandparents, Yutaka and Kimiko Shitanishi, and Julius and Vilma Lauris.

He is survived by his wife, Kristi Lauris; his daughters, Taylor and Lauryn; his mother, Reiko Lauris; his sister, Kimiko Milheim, and husband Scott, and their daughters, Kimiko and Chayce; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends.

He will be missed by many as he was such a giving and friendly person.

A Funeral Service will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Monday, April 7, 2014, at 1:00 p.m.
