

Dale Alan Gibson, 65, of Fresno, CA, passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2017. He was born in Livermore, CA, but spent most of his life in Fresno and Clovis where the Gibson family has resided since before the turn of the century.
Dale was devoted to serving God and helping others study the bible. When he found God, his heart and life changed forever. He regularly participated in a men’s bible study group and other church activities.
Dale could get along with everyone he met. His engaging smile and barrel laugh would light up a room. He was easy to talk to and quick to befriend people he just met.
His first passion was photography. He worked to document weddings and special events for approximately 5 years. After that, he worked four years as a Life and Disability agent before landing a job with the City of Fresno in Parks and Recreation. He worked there for 21 years and retired at the age of 60.
Dale is survived by his son Joshua Gibson, 19, of Fresno, brother Tom Gibson and wife Shude of San Diego, CA, brother Bruce Gibson and wife Sue of Post Falls, ID, sister Lynn Gibson and husband John of Escondido, CA, brother Frank Perreira and wife Jennifer of Oakdale, CA, and brother Chris Perreira and wife Cindy of Oakdale, CA.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at the Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, Fresno, CA, (559) 227-4048.
