Dennis was born on January 4, 1955, to Victor and Carolyn Jennings in Fresno, CA. He entered into rest on September 14, 2025 at the age of 70.
Though Dennis faced challenges early in life, his perseverance and determination helped him overcome them, shaping him into a devoted family man and loyal friend. He graduated from McLane High School in 1974 and worked for the Fresno Parks and Recreation Department, where he cultivated many lifelong friends, especially those from Einstein Park.
Dennis later worked for Orchard Supply Hardware until he was asked to come to Lowe's when they first opened in town. He retired from Lowe's in 2020 leaving behind not only years of dedicated service, but also countless relationships built on kindness, humor, and trust.
Dennis leaves behind the love of his life, Marcia, his daughter, Bianca, his son, Tyler, his grandson, Nolan, and his sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Les Gomes. He also Leaves behind many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his steady presence and the deep love he held for his family and friends. His memory will forever live on in those who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life service will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns, and Blair Funeral Home on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
