I do not remember for sure when  Dwayne and I actually first met. But, I know we spent some time running around with one another in Jr high. By the time we got to high school we were buddyed up because of our participation in sports. We were two of the players that made JV football together as freshmen.  During basketball season we played on the freshman team . In Portville we met some girls that thought we were brothers and got kick out of an out of town game because we we standing on the court protesting a call against our JV team. The last amazing thing was in Bakersfield.  He showed up at my condo complex  to visit someone  we both knew but we didn’t know we both knew this person in 1996!

Years ago the first time i met dwayne he was quite a gentleman. We attended a family affair barley meeting him , the first thing he did was drag me thru the crowd saying "look what santa brought me for christmas" that man was and will continue to be so special to me. Never selfish. He was the gift that god had brought to my life that will always be dear to my heart. I love you dwayne. You will be missed.

We have lost a great man,  a man that was always beautiful inside and out, he had helped so many people i know,  conquere there use of drugs, he wasn't just my drug Counselor when i attended the pcdc program,  he promised me life if i just showed up everyday,  i remember he would always have us start  our mornings picking out these little faces that explained how we are feeling that day,  some of us liked it some of us didn't lol but we all loved his  favorite word during  group sessions, which was dang... I think everytime we would see him most of us would just say thoes words to him, ("dang") made him smile. , he was the most amazing person i had met,  he helped me save my life,  and i will always be forever grateful for  him.  I will always remember him like a father,  you will be missed my friend,  but we will see  you again,  until then  just keep smiling down on us,  we will be ok cause you taught us that.
