

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Efren Ortega, a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather. Born on the 23rd of January, 1952, his life came to a peaceful close on the 24th of September, 2023.
Efren is remembered as a pillar of strength not only within his family but to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His personality was a unique blend of being hardworking, courageous, loving, charming, and adventurous. He always put his family first, trusting in Jehovah to see them through all difficulties. His teachings and actions showed us how to give without expecting anything in return.
Despite facing numerous hardships, Efren's resilience never wavered. He carried his family through every struggle and continued to provide for them, eventually raising a loving and supportive family. This, among many other things, is one of his greatest accomplishments. His legacy of kindness and perseverance will forever be cherished and kept alive by his loved ones.
Survived by his wife, Ramona, his children, Eddie, Zulema, and Natalie; his son-in-law, Tony; his daughter-in-law, Randi; his sisters, Rosa, Maria Elena, and Petro; his brothers, Leonides, Silvestre, Zacarias, and Elias; and his grandchildren, Malaki, Devynne, Milan, Audrina, Madilyn, Ciena, and Alessia. He had been predeceased by his parents, Eusebio and Maria De Jesus, and his brothers, Apolonio and Ambrosio.
Efren Ortega’s life was a testament to the power of resilience, love, and faith. His memory will continue to inspire all those who knew him.
Con gran pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Efrén Ortega, un amado esposo, padre, hermano y abuelo. Nacido el 23 de enero de 1952, su vida llegó a su fin pacíficamente el 24 de septiembre de 2023.
Efrén es recordado como un pilar de fortaleza no solo dentro de su familia sino también para todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Su personalidad era una combinación única de un hombre trabajador, valiente, cariñoso, encantador y aventurero. Siempre puso a su familia en primer lugar y confió en que Jehová los ayudaría a superar todas las dificultades. Sus enseñanzas y acciones nos mostraron cómo dar sin esperar nada a cambio.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Ramona, sus hijos, Eddie, Zulema y Natalie; su yerno, Tony; su nuera, Randi; sus hermanas Rosa, Maria Elena y Petro; sus hermanos Leónides, Silvestre, Zacarías y Elías; y sus ñietos, Malaki, Devynne, Milan, Audrina, Madilyn, Ciena y Alessia. Habían fallecido antes sus padres, Eusebio y María De Jesús, y sus hermanos, Apolonio y Ambrosio.
La vida de Efrén Ortega fue un testimonio del poder de la resiliencia, el amor y la fe. Su recuerdo seguirá inspirando a todos aquellos que lo conocieron.
