Elaine Lindegren

Elaine and her fraternal twin sister, Eileen were born on August 15, 1930 in Fresno, California to Leroy and Anna Finnegan. Elaine has three surviving daughters: Patricia Lynn Ruiz and husband Jesse Ruiz, Susan Carol Robertson and husband Wesley Robertson, and Karen Ann Lindegren. She has three grandchildren: Joseph Ruiz, Jennifer Nava and husband Jonathan Nava, and Kimberly Aguilar and husband Niles Aguilar, along with three great-grandchildren: Kyndall Aguilar, Brylinn Aguilar, and Madden Nava.

She was predeceased by her parents, Leroy and Anna Finnegan, husband, Jack Kenneth Lindegren, and twin sister, Eileen.

Elaine was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter-in-law, sister and aunt. She was a devoted housewife and loved her family very much.

Elaine worked as a Teacher’s Aide for the Corcoran Unified School District. She was an active member of the Presbyterian Church of Corcoran. She taught Sunday School and served in various other ways within the church. Elaine was active in the following clubs/organizations: Cotton Heirs, The Corcoran Guild, The Garden Club, The Thursday Club (past president), Eastern Star, and PTA. She was additionally a 4-H club leader, A Past Bethel Guardian of Job’s Daughters, and was involved in the Corcoran High School Band-Backers.

While she was involved in various clubs within the community, above all, Elaine enjoyed spending quality time with her family.
