Ella May Gant Jensen, was born on April 29, 1931, on the family ranch near Atwater, CA, and danced her way into heaven on Thursday, May 7, 2015. Ella is remembered as a Godly woman, a loving wife, a caring mother, aunt and sister, a doting Nana, and a creative and compassionate soul. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Boyd Gant, Floyd Gant and Ralph Gant; and her parents, Lee Roy and Zelma Gant. Ella is survived by her husband, and the love of her life, Gordon Jensen; her step-daughters, Karin Hart and her husband Larry, Kathy Jensen Shaver and her husband Craig, Jeannie Brown and her husband Bruce; five grandchildren; two great-grand-children, her brother, Cliff Gant; her sister, Betty Stott; numerous devoted nieces and nephews; and grandnieces and grandnephews, who were all very precious to her and a source of great pride. A Celebration of Life will be held at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 1525 E. Saginaw Way, Fresno, CA, on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society.
