I never knew you personally but your nephew always spoke the world of you. I hope you're resting well.

This picture was from when I went to a casino with my Mom (who is holding the camera here) and Tivi. I didn't care much for gambling or the bright lights, I was just happy being around the people I love. Tivi was part of what made traveling so enjoyable for me, because she was a woman of immaculate patience. I would never feel more comfortable than being around her, where I could be free to act and speak as myself without need for a filter or anything of the sort. She was precious to me, as she was to many others, and I will always keep calling her Mother regardless of our relation to one another. I was the son she never had, and she was my Surrogate Mother. I will remind myself whenever I miss her that she's still with me, in the memories and in the feelings that comes from those memories.
