Ernest was a World War II veteran in Pearl Harbor and fought for our country. He was a traffic controller for Santa Fe Railroad for forty years and had a second occupation as a salesman of many trades.
He was always so humble, gentle, kind, loving, and so much more. He loved his family and never had anything negative to say. He was truly a saint.
His memory will always be in our hearts.
Ernest is survived by three children Denis Olivas and wife Thelma, Ernestine Armi and husband Craig; Robert Olivas and wife Beate; grandsons, Tim Hall and wife Kyle, Brian Hall and wife Beth and Eli Olivas; granddaughters, Sarah and husband Manuel Ramirez, Regina Brown and Ingrid Olivas.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Sunday July 15, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 4:00 p.m..
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
