In 1943, Lynn's father, Harold J. Baker, a Real Estate Broker from Merced, Ca., purchased a sizable amount of land in Fish Camp two miles from the south entrance to Yosemite National Park. He subsequently was involved in the development, leasing, and operation of the newly constructed Silvertip Lodge. During the 1960's and 1970's the Kellers, owned and operated the lodge until 1978. It was destroyed by fire in 1981.
Lynn also was a long time employee of the Tenaya Lodge, in Fish Camp, Ca., where she happily worked in the Gift Shop beginning in 1990 until she retired in 2009.
